Corporate Investigations Lawyer

Our customer, a global professional services company, is looking for an Investigations Lead to conduct and oversee corporate compliance investigations arising from alleged misconduct reported through various channels. This is a 7-8 months\’ contract role. Responsibilities include: Work with senior leadership to assess and address legal risks associated with investigations. Manage investigative teams and oversee notification, recording, and reporting processes related to investigations. Oversee resources to investigate allegations of misconduct related to financial and regulatory issues, including defining scope, conducting interviews, compiling reports, and recommending remedial measures. Ensure effective investigation processes, identify trends, and provide updates on investigation data. Make strategic decisions impacting the Corporate Investigations group. Implement global strategies set by the Global Director of Corporate Investigations. Provide legal advice on risks and remedial actions to senior leadership. Coordinate with Compliance Program leads and law enforcement agencies. Train and support investigative personnel and stay updated on legal developments affecting investigations. Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in conducting and supervising investigations, including: Code of Business Ethics and financial fraud investigations, Regulatory and governmental investigations, Drafting legal reports and advising on compliance risks, Litigation experience.
