The Vice President, Worldwide Sales, Travel Industry is a highly strategic and visionary leader responsible for driving the global direction, revenue growth, market and competitive positioning of the Travel Industry segment, to include Wholesale. This senior leadership role is responsible for developing and delivering high-impact sales strategies, aligning regional efforts with corporate objectives and ensuring optimal customer acquisition and retention through market share gains across the organization.

This VP will lead cross-functional teams with direct reporting in Americas, Europe and the Middle East and have accountability in APAC. This role will oversee strategic projects, financial planning, best in class client events with strong ROI, and talent recruitment and development. Fostering a high performance, global team and a data driven sales culture is critical as is leveraging business intelligence through available tools and industry insights to maximize efficiency and customer engagement.

The VP serves as a trusted industry ambassador, representing the brand at senior level forums, client events and conferences. By driving innovation, cultivating strategic partnerships and empowering our Worldwide Account Directors, this role strengthens our competitive positioning, champions excellence and ensures long-term success in a dynamic global landscape.

This role is based in one of our USA based Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Corporate Offices, reporting to the Senior Vice President, Sales. This role involves interactions with primarily internal stakeholders at various levels.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Strategic Leadership & Market Expansion
    • Develop and implement a high-impact Sales & Marketing strategy for the Travel Industry segment, ensuring alignment with overarching Corporate Strategic Plan objectives and driving sustainable revenue growth.
    • Spearhead Travel Industry initiatives to deliver measurable financial outcomes, driving customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market optimization while strategically positioning the organization within key global markets.
    • Lead high-priority strategic projects that reinforce the Travel Industry segment, overseeing execution and delivering results tied to revenue targets.
    • Design and deploy Preferred Partner strategies tailored to new, renovated, and flagship hotels, maximizing performance across diverse regions.
    • Anticipate evolving industry trends and regional cultural nuances to formulate proactive, revenue-centric strategies that differentiate the brand from other competitive programs across all Global regions.
    • Oversee and optimize the Travel Industry expense budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strategic ROI-driven investments.
  • Executive Leadership & Team Development
    • Define and monitor performance-driven revenue objectives for Regional Directors of Sales, Associate Directors of Sales, Account Directors, Manager of Events, and Sales Coordinators, ensuring accountability at all levels.
    • Foster a data-powered, technology-enhanced sales approach, leveraging business intelligence tools to drive efficiency and results.
    • Champion leadership development, succession planning, and talent advancement initiatives to cultivate a strong executive pipeline and ensure future readiness.
    • Establish a collaborative, high-performance culture across a decentralized team, driving alignment through structured communication, regular reviews, and mentorship.
    • Lead talent engagement programs to enhance cross-functional collaboration among sales and coordination teams, optimizing operational effectiveness.
  • Customer Engagement & Strategic Partnerships
    • Ensure the development and execution of holistic account strategies for key Preferred Partner agencies and top Wholesale accounts, reinforcing loyalty and long-term partnership success.
    • Represent the Travel Industry segment as a trusted industry leader, including ROI driven high-profile events customer confidence through executive engagement and strategic problem-solving.
    • Oversee commissionable partner programs, including American Express FH&R, Chase, and Internova, ensuring alignment with revenue strategies and optimal results.
    • Direct customer-centric initiatives, including ROI driven high profile events and strategic account reviews, ensuring market influence and measurable business impact.
  • Sales Enablement & Performance Optimization
    • Drive innovation in sales enablement tools, ensuring optimal effectiveness in achieving revenue goals by maximizing efficiency and business intelligence.
    • Ensure rigorous data governance, performing Salesforce audits to enhance integrity and maintain elevated account management standards.
  • Industry Leadership & Market Intelligence
    • Continuously assess global competitor dynamics, customer behaviours, and emerging market trends, positioning the company as a forward-thinking industry leader.

What You Bring

  • 15+ Years experience leading sales teams in the luxury segment specifically in the travel industry segment (with knowledge of wholesale).
  • Proven effective leadership skills, especially in a decentralized setting.
  • Deep level of understanding of Travel Industry and Wholesale segments.
  • Able to manage teams and individual productivity using a combination of technology, personal motivation and customer insights.
  • Strong customer relationships.
  • Understands and delivers on the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence sales behaviour.
  • Willingness to understand sales technology, incentive plans and tools at a very granular level and to provide clear leadership.
  • Full accountability for all initiatives and supportive to those doing the work.
  • Four Year University Degree, Marketing, Hospitality preferred.

This role will be a Hybrid working model, which will require 3 days per week in the Four Seasons Corporate Office.
