Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate, dynamic, and results-driven Training Manager to lead and elevate training initiatives across our key UK retail partners – Space NK, Harrods, and Selfridges. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring a consistent and premium brand experience across all touchpoints, empowering retail teams to embody the 111SKIN DNA and drive exceptional customer engagement and sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Training Delivery & Development
- Design and deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions for in-store teams across Space NK, Harrods, and Selfridges.
- Develop tailored training plans and calendars in line with retail partner needs and seasonal brand focuses.
- Deliver onboarding and refresher training on brand history, product knowledge, facial protocols, selling techniques, and customer service excellence.
- Support the implementation of new product launches with impactful, sales-driven education.
- Retail Partnership Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers, area managers, and retail partner education teams.
- Act as the key liaison between 111SKIN and retail partners regarding training needs, feedback, and performance.
- Attend partner events, store visits, and sales floor time to ensure training is driving measurable results.
- Team Performance & Development
- Coach and motivate retail sales staff and brand ambassadors to achieve individual and team targets.
- Identify knowledge gaps and implement targeted training strategies to improve performance.
- Champion and develop a culture of learning, excellence, and brand advocacy.
- Reporting & KPIs
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs including sales uplift, mystery shop scores, and staff feedback.
- Provide regular reports on training activity, team performance, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Monitor competitor activity and adapt training strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3+ years’ experience in training or education roles within the beauty or luxury retail industry.
- Strong knowledge of the UK luxury skincare and cosmetics market.
- Proven experience working with or for Space NK, Harrods, or Selfridges is highly desirable.
- Passionate about skincare, with excellent product and ingredient knowledge.
- Confident facilitator with outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Proficient in creating engaging training materials, both in-person and digital.
- Flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the UK.
