Job title: General Assistant

Location: Melton Constable, Norfolk (Must be able to drive due to rural location of the service)

Salary: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Available 8am – 4pm

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the cook in the kitchen with preparing simple meals
• Ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy
• Undertake cleaning tasks around the service, including rooms, public areas, and offices
• Wash laundry, including linen and residents\’ clothes
• Check and replenish stock levels of consumables

About you

Experience in housekeeping, preferably in a care environment, is advantageous. Knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety is beneficial but not essential.

About The Service

Swanton Care Centre – Swanton House is set in 22 acres of grounds in North Norfolk. We support up to 49 individuals across three smaller homes, offering Residential and Nursing Care.
