Senior CAD Engineer

Job DescriptionThis is a great opportunity for a CAD PDK Engineer to join a very well-reputed, successful IC design firm in the UK. This role can be based out of our client’s offices in Oxford, Sheffield or Bristol, (with hybrid working, 2-3 days in the office).In this role the CAD / PDK Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of interesting and challenging design projects while diversifying and expanding his / her knowledge. Responsibilities will include:PDK installation, configuration and maintenance Physical IP library installation, configuration and maintenance o Standard cells, IOs, memories etc.CAD tool installation, configuration and maintenance Supporting the IC design engineering teams on day-to-day activities relating to CAD provision Working with IC design engineering teams to develop methodology improvementsDirect technical interfacing with external foundries and CAD tool vendorsThe right candidate will have a sound understanding of IC design tools and process design kits for silicon chip design.
