I’m currently hiring on behalf of a highly respected and innovative economic consultancy that’s looking for an Operations Officer to join their London team. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s proactive, detail-driven, and eager to build a career in business operations. The Role:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the consultancy’s offices and operations across Europe, working as part of a four-person team.
- Ensuring offices are well-presented and fully equipped.
- Preparing meeting rooms (tech, refreshments, materials).
- Welcoming visitors, handling incoming calls, and managing general office queries.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Assisting with office policies, H&S compliance, and reporting.
- Managing onboarding/offboarding for staff and suppliers.
- Liaising with service providers (IT, cleaning, etc.).
- Providing occasional support to marketing, travel booking, events, and diaries.
What They’re Looking For:
- 3+ years experience in a similar office/operations role, ideally in a professional services environment.
- Warm, approachable personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Great attention to detail and high standards for presentation.
- Strong multitasking and organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with good written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Bonus: fluency in Italian, French, or Spanish is highly desirable.
