Travelers Europe is seeking a Business Analyst, with experience working in an Insurance environment, to join our team in London! As part of the Strategic Planning and Execution team, you will help the team and work alongside other Business Analysts on our change portfolio. You will work closely with colleagues across the business along with Product Owners and Project Managers. You will report to the Senior Manager for Business Analysis.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Gathering information from different parts of the organisation to help deliver the right solutions for the business.
- Confidently interviewing stakeholders and customers.
- Collecting, understanding, documenting, validating and communicating the business requirements for the product work.
- Building specifications in line with third-party requirements.
- Documenting business processes.
- Coordinating and performing user acceptance testing.
- Performing ad hoc analysis to investigate operational issues.
- Working with supervision from project managers or product owners.
- Communicating insights and plans effectively to cross-functional teams, third parties, and management.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking benefits.
- Assisting in delivering key project deliverables.
- Liaising with project managers on project and task plans.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
- Experience with agile tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in commercial or syndicate insurance.
- Knowledge of third-party SaaS systems like Acturis.
- ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis or related modules.
