They are now looking to hire a skilled Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join their established team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate must hold a valid CAP qualification and have a strong understanding of the maintenance and service of powered access equipment, they will also be proficient in completing both pre delivery & LOLA inspections and will be proficient in undertaking both mechanical and electrical work. Workshop Powered Access Engineer Job Overview Perform pre-delivery inspections, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and safety regulations Communicate defects or unsafe equipment to the Depot Manager promptly Diagnose, repair, and address faults to ensure platforms meet company standards. Conduct LOLER inspections following manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper stock control for all parts and consumables. Report potential customer recharges or warranty issues to the Service Department Adhere to the company's health and safety procedures at all times Workshop Powered Access Engineer Job Requirements Experience in maintaining and inspecting mobile or vehicle-mounted access platforms.
