The role is within the Solution Consulting and Product team, part of the SS&C Global Investor and Distribution Services (GIDS) group, responsible for developing innovative market-leading products and services for the global financial industry.

The successful candidate will support the development and promotion of propositional offerings for Investment Managed Wealth, working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including product owners, change management, and delivery teams. The role requires strong domain knowledge of wealth management processes and industry practices, utilizing this expertise in a consultancy capacity. Additionally, the candidate will assist in identifying and supporting new sales opportunities by understanding client requirements and proposing suitable solutions.

Reporting to the Proposition and Solution Lead, the candidate will:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of wealth management functions, SS&C products, regulatory changes, industry trends, and competitors.
  • Support wealth proposition leads in innovating and defining new propositions, documenting offerings, and ensuring alignment with product roadmaps.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities, including identifying customer needs, leading demos, supporting RFIs/RFPs, and contributing to sales initiatives.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of the wealth marketplace and end-to-end wealth processes (onboarding, portfolio management, trading, regulatory reporting, etc.).
  • Knowledge of wealth products such as investment accounts, ISAs, pensions, and bonds.
  • Experience with software and BPO propositions in wealth management.
  • Previous client-facing experience with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Background in business analysis, architecture, or solution consultancy within the wealth industry.
  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and drive change effectively.
  • Self-motivated, ownership-driven, with experience in Agile methodologies.
