An exciting opportunity has arisen at a high-growth, fast-paced global group operating across Europe, the USA, and over 65 international entities. We’re seeking a Group Finance Director to lead our clients global financial reporting and consolidation function. This is a senior leadership role based in London, with oversight of central finance teams and local accounting functions across Europe and North America. The successful candidate will play a critical part in driving operational excellence, ensuring IFRS compliance, and supporting strategic transformation projects across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead global financial reporting, consolidations, and external audit across a multi-entity, multi-currency structure.
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated IFRS financial statements and monthly management reporting.
  • Act as the primary liaison for auditors and ensure compliance with evolving IFRS and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive financial governance, internal controls, and reporting standardisation.
  • Support finance transformation, including automation and system optimisation projects.
  • Mentor and lead geographically dispersed teams, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
  • Partner with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Legal on group-wide financial planning and strategic initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience leading financial control and reporting in a global, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong IFRS expertise; US GAAP knowledge and US listing/reporting experience desirable.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and team leadership skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP desirable) and consolidation tools.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect operational insight to financial performance.
  • Some international travel required.
