One of the key objectives of Pilgrim's Shared Services Ltd is to provide valued added expertise in financial and tax reporting services to other Business Units in the group. The purpose of the role will be to provide accurate and timely financial and tax information to key stakeholders. These will include the Senior Managers RTR, Head of Financial Services, Direct Tax Lead and other teams within Financial Services and the wider business.
Operating within the Tax and RTR stream, the Accountant will support closely with the Direct Tax Lead in declarations and tax position of the business unit(s) and subsequent reporting. The Accountant will have excellent ERP and IT skills and be able to leverage these to deliver solutions to issues arising, delivering continuous systems improvement in collaboration with other departments. This role is interesting and diverse and will suit someone who is flexible and adept at problem solving.
Ensuring consistency of accounting policy and Sox controls across the European businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Reporting to the Direct Tax Finance Lead, this role will be working as part of a team producing tax and financial reporting for several business units.
- Outputs will include periodic reporting to HMRC/Revenue.
- Input into relevant areas of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information.
