Title: Procurement Manager

Sector: Higher Education

Location: Remote hybrid (1 day per week in the office)

Salary & Package: £44,000 + 40 days holiday + a further strong benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and department heads.
• Manage competitive tenders and procurement specifications, including Framework Agreements.
• Create and implement category plans aligned with long-term objectives.

Experience & Requirements:

• Experience managing indirect procurement categories.
• Proven ability to deliver value through strategic, compliant procurement.
• Understanding of public sector procurement regulations (PCR2015, OJEU, UCR, Procurement Act, etc.).
• CIPS qualification is a plus but not essential.
