Community Relationship Officer/Technical Surveyor – Overview

We are currently working with one of the largest renewable energy companies in the country that has an exciting new role available. They are among the leading installers of Solar PV & Battery Storage Systems in the UK, completing approximately 400 installations per month on private domestic and social housing properties.

The company is seeking a Technical Surveyor/Manager based in the Halifax area, responsible for overseeing installations and liaising with customers.

Recently, they secured a contract with a large Housing Association in Halifax to deliver 500 Solar PV Installations over the next 9 months. As a Technical Surveyor, your role will involve managing the installation programme, conducting site surveys, explaining the installation process to customers, and ensuring they are satisfied. You will also provide reminders about installation dates, perform post-installation surveys and audits for quality assurance, and assist customers with operating their systems after installation.

This role has been titled ‘Community Relationship Officer’ because a significant part of your responsibilities will include engaging with elderly or vulnerable clients to ensure they understand the process and feel supported.
