Job Vacancy: Clearance Operative (Void Property Specialist)

Location: Multi-site across Northamptonshire
Hours: Full-time / 37 hrs a week/ 8am-4pm
Salary: £13.75 p/hr

Clearance Operative to join our team and help bring vacant properties back to life!

About the Role:

As a Clearance Operative, you\’ll be responsible for preparing empty (void) properties for re-letting, sale, or refurbishment. This includes clearing out furniture and waste, deep cleaning, and carrying out minor repairs to ensure properties are safe, clean, and ready for their next occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clear properties of all unwanted items, furniture, and waste
• Deeply clean kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas
• Carry out basic repairs and report any major issues
• Handle and dispose of waste responsibly, following health and safety guidelines.
• Use PPE and follow safety procedures at all times
• Complete job reports and communicate with supervisors or housing officers

What We\’re Looking For:

• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items
• Experience in cleaning, maintenance, or clearance work (preferred but not essential)
• Basic DIY or fixer skills
• A respectful and professional attitude, especially when handling personal belongings
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
