Group Buyer – FMCG | Office-Based Craigavon I\’m recruiting for a newly created Group Buyer role with a well-established packaging business. This senior-level position will lead procurement strategy and supplier management, with a focus on cost control, operational efficiency, and quality assurance.Key Responsibilities:Oversee bulk purchasing and negotiate favourable termsManage supplier relationships to ensure consistent supply and serviceTrack procurement KPIs and identify areas for cost savingsMonitor market trends and adjust strategies accordinglyAlign purchasing activity with inventory needs and production timelinesMaintain standards for quality, pricing, and deliveryRequirements:Proven experience in a senior procurement or buying role, ideally within FMCGStrong negotiation and supplier management skillsDegree on Business Management or similarCommercially minded with a data-driven approachConfident in forecasting, benchmarking, and contract managementEffective communicator with solid organisational skillsRole Details:Full-time, office-based: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pmUK travel requiredSalary dependent on experienceIf you have a strong track record in strategic buying and supplier performance, get in touch to discuss further.
