Our London office focuses on commercial operations, ensuring the delivery of our revolutionary products to the UK market. Moderna is seeking an HEOR expert to support our UK strategy by driving robust evidence generation for pricing, reimbursement, and market access. This role will oversee key initiatives, including cost-effectiveness models, real-world evidence (RWE) studies, and HTA submissions, while also supporting payer engagement and the successful implementation of UK-specific HEOR deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term assignment to provide HEOR support and maintain critical UK market access and evidence-generation priorities during a leave of absence.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the preparation of JCVI and HTA submissions for Moderna’s pipeline of innovative vaccines, ensuring the adaptation of HEOR evidence to meet UK-specific requirements.

  • Adapt cost-effectiveness and budget impact models to support pricing and reimbursement strategies for multiple assets.

  • Lead the generation of UK-specific HEOR evidence to inform market access strategies, incorporating data from real-world evidence (RWE), epidemiology, and economic modeling.

  • Execute and contribute to real-world data studies, including CPRD-HES research on endemic COVID-19 and respiratory disease burden, primary and secondary care data analysis of RSV vs. other pathogens.

  • Deliver cost-benefit calculators and macroeconomic impact analyses to demonstrate the value of vaccination.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Provide early-stage HEOR input into pipeline products to ensure robust evidence generation strategies.

  • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to support HEOR research and data generation.

  • Engage with cross-functional teams (medical, market access, policy, and commercial) to integrate HEOR insights into broader business strategies.

  • Contribute to HEOR peer publications and presentations at key scientific conferences in alignment with broader organizational priorities.

  • Support policy affairs and market access engagements with tailored HEOR evidence, ensuring alignment with evolving UK healthcare policies and reimbursement frameworks.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies while managing the HEOR budget, tracking project deliverables, and overseeing external research collaborations.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

  • MSc, PhD, or equivalent in Health Economics, Epidemiology, or Outcomes Research.

  • Extensive UK HEOR experience, including HTA submissions and payer engagement (JCVI and NICE/SMC/NCPE).

  • Expertise in economic modeling, RWE, and strategic evidence generation.

  • Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
