As we continue to grow our operations, we are seeking a driven and analytical Senior Finance Associate to join our London-based finance team, supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic analysis across our UK and EMEA operations.
Position Summary: The Senior Finance Associate will play a key role in supporting financial operations, delivering insightful analysis, and contributing to strategic planning across Newmarkβs growing EMEA platform. This role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple service lines and business units.
- Prepare financial models and scenario analysis to support business planning, investments, and client proposals.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Monitor KPIs, revenue performance, and cost control measures across the region.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial systems, controls, and reporting tools.
- Assist with client billing, project tracking, and profitability analysis.
- Support M&A or expansion-related financial due diligence and integration efforts as needed.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, analysis, and presentations for senior leadership.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3β5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or commercial real estate finance.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA part- or fully-qualified (or international equivalent).
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with ERP/financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) is desirable.
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Experience in the real estate or professional services sector is a strong advantage.
- Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
