My client is recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join them on a permanent basis.
Working hours:
- 0630 – 1700 Monday – Friday
- 0630 – 1300 Saturday
The role will include:
- Weighing all vehicles moving in and out of the site, ensuring waste transfer notes are received/issued as required.
- Ordering transport to remove materials from site.
- Controlling traffic flow within the weighbridge area.
- Taking phone calls from customers.
- Updating spreadsheets with accurate information, ensuring tonnages are recorded correctly.
- Ensuring all site visitors sign in the visitor's book and have appropriate PPE.
- Admin duties as required, answering emails, dealing with queries, etc.
- Understanding the site permit to ensure waste types being brought to site are acceptable.
- Maintaining the weighbridge unit, carrying out cleaning around the load cells on a weekly basis.
- Reporting any weighbridge defects to the site manager.
