We are currently recruiting for an IT Cost Optimisation Manager to join our established and experienced Chief Information Office team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.
Role RequirementsAs the Cost Optimisation Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) Senior business manager, managing the CIO TCO budget, financial planning, expenditure tracking and optimisation of spend. You will monitor and report on IT spending, providing detailed analysis and insights to stakeholders. You will also collaborate with IT project managers to forecast financial needs for upcoming projects. You will maintain the approval process of additional run-costs implemented by change projects. You will also have responsibility for budget modelling & Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) for driven projects. You will collaborate with procurement, finance, portfolio Leads and Service Assurance with the production of costs for tenders and ongoing costs.
The IndividualTo be successful in this role you will have experience in a financially focussed, data-driven role, owning and managing large complex budgets, within a large complex organisation, ideally in Financial Services. You will be commercially astute with demonstrable history of taking accountability of managing large, complex budgets. You will have the ability to influence audiences outside of your direct control, coupled with good skills in relationship and stakeholder management.
