I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser to join an to join an established UK brand within their head office.
You will be responsible for managing your own product area including range planning, WSSI, forecasting and managing supplier relationships. Working with various internal department including Supply Chain, Product and Range you’ll ensure the right information is available at the right time to ensure the seamlessly delivery of product to store when it’s required. You will enjoy working in a busy fast paced retail head office environment; some of your duties will include.
- Managing specific accounts including overall planning, sales plans, customer budget and SKU level decision making activities
- Keep systems updated to maintain accurate production & shipping timeframes.
- Accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns, and margin.
- Continuous trading analysis to ensure strong forward planning
- Taking full ownership of your area and acting on issues when they arise.
Ensure critical path is maintained, highlighting possible delays.
Key requirements for this role:
- Previous experience in Merchandising withing Retail / FMCG is essential.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise / influence effectively at all levels.
- Highly accurate with a good attention to detail
- Strong numerical skills with the ability to analyse data.
- Ability to manage a varied workload.
- Strong commercial awareness
- Good working knowledge of MS Office products specifically Excel and Tableau
