Are you and experienced Site Maintenance Engineer? We are seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Cadishead, Greater Manchester. This is a key role that would involve day to day maintenance duties as well as involvement in development projects and installation of new technologies to solve processing problems.
Key Responsibilities:
– Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery
– Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair machinery in a timely manner
– Manage the maintenance schedule and ensure work is completed on time
– Work closely with production staff to ensure minimal downtime
– Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work
– Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Skills and Qualifications:
– HNC/NVQ in Engineering
– Proven electrical/mechanical engineering experience
– Experience of working with heavy machinery
– Excellent problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Good communication skills
– Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
