We are seeking a skilled Site Maintenance Engineer to join our client in Cadishead, Greater Manchester. This is a key role that would involve day to day maintenance duties as well as involvement in development projects and installation of new technologies to solve processing problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery
  • Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults and repair machinery in a timely manner
  • Manage the maintenance schedule and ensure work is completed on time
  • Work closely with production staff to ensure minimal downtime
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to management
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • HNC/NVQ in Engineering
  • Proven electrical/mechanical engineering experience
  • Experience of working with heavy machinery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
