It is paramount that you are a strong relationship builder to ensure quality workmanship and collaborative problem-solving when faced with challenges and preventing reoccurrences. You will work closely with other departments in the region as part of the development and construction phases, this is not an isolated role but a key central point in the delivery of quality homes. Your subcontractors will need guidance and direction so that you can work together to reach your targets and deliver an outstanding final product. The role requires a level of resilience and drive to deliver to the build programme both on budget and to deadlines. You will be naturally motivated to do so and will never compromise on finishing of the product. As a Health and Safety Ambassador, you will ensure your site set up and operations are consistently in line with both Crest and industry standards and practices, from the moment you step onto site, through to the final handover of keys to a property. We believe communication and good leadership get the job done - we encourage you to develop your leadership skills in the role of Trainee Assistant Site Manager while you work your way up to the role of Site Manager.
Duties Include:
- Assisting in overseeing site activity in the absence of the Site Manager.
- Working with the site team and sub-contractors to help deliver the budgeted number of plots in line with the Crest quality standards and on time.
- Assisting the Site Manager to ensure that all activities on site are carried out in accordance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards in line with our legal requirements.
- Assisting the delivery of high standards of quality to be achieved throughout all build stages, assisting the Build Stage Inspection regime is strictly adhered to and that plots are fully completed before presentation.
- Assisting the site management team to ensure high standards of site and plot presentation and housekeeping, in line with our Customer Service Guidelines.
- Ensuring site management information and data is recorded fully, accurately and in a timely fashion.
- Liaising with customers in a professional manner and holding Home Demonstrations in accordance with Crest standards when required.
