Sister London is an integrated creative marketing agency established by Sarah Millar and Kay Copeland. Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, we promote destinations, brands, restaurants and festivals to global media.
Our Public Relations division has an expansive global network, connecting brands with media, influencers and industry partners across consumer and trade platforms. We are a passionate team of creatives with a strong focus on placemaking, retail and F&B.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic PR Account Executive to join our team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and develop essential PR skills, while contributing to the success of our client campaigns across the placemaking, fashion, food, culture and lifestyle sectors.
The Account Executive will support senior team members in day-to-day media relations and account management. They will also work predominantly across destination, fashion and food brand accounts.
Core responsibilities:- Media Relations:
- Draft press releases
- Pitch ideas and secure media coverage
- Monitor media coverage and prepare reports
- Build and maintain relationships with journalists and influencers
- Contribute to the development of creative campaign ideas
- Support senior team members in day-to-day account activities
- Assist in the development of PR plans
- Reporting and research assist
- Events
- Candidate must have at least 1-2+ years’ experience in the public relations sector
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Social media savvy and understands influencer marketing and content creation
- Friendly, confident, down to earth and positive outlook
