Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, home to iconic beers & soft drinks including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, and Wainwright. Soft drink brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango, and London Essence, plus the UK license rights to Pepsi products like Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Ice Tea, and Rockstar Energy. With 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots across the UK, Carlsberg Britvic aims to ensure our people succeed as we bring together two historic businesses.
Reporting to the VP – Finance, this role is key to our success and involves the following:
Role Responsibilities:
- Represent regional procurement locally and serve as the main contact for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure procurement value is delivered locally, impacting the P&L.
- Engage in discussions on value, project pipelines, and budgets with relevant stakeholders.
- Manage local procurement resources, providing support to maximize value and project execution.
- Ensure value through transparent spend analysis, tenders, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain compliance with purchasing policies and coordinate between local business, central procurement, and the Procurement Operating Centre.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience in strategic or tactical procurement roles at regional or global levels, with a commercial focus.
- Degree or equivalent experience; a commercial background is preferred, especially in a global matrix organization.
- Proven sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
- Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of Source-to-Pay processes, financial impacts, and market analysis.
- Extensive team management experience and stakeholder relationship building.
- Knowledge of SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
