Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver
Medway
Monday-Friday (12pm-10pm)
c.£31k
Do you have a counterbalance and/or reach truck licence?
Do you have experience working in a mixed role including both forklift duties and general warehouse?
I am looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative who has a forklift licence for a counterbalance and/or reachtruck (in-house licences accepted) to join my client’s team! A great opportunity to join a well-established, market-leading organisation in a fast-paced role!
Duties include:
- Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
- Order picking using IT systems
- Loading and unloadinglorries
- Preparing products for production
- Moving pallets around the warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse is keptclean and tidy
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous experience as Warehouse Operative
- Both counterbalance and reachtrucklicences would be desirable, but just one will be fine (in-house licences accepted)
- Experience using computerisedstockcontrolsystems
- Strong attention to detail skills to ensure items are picked correctly
- Organised and able to meet KPI targets
- Physically fit in order to work long days and stand for long periods of time on occasions
