We are an outsourcing company that has clients in Europe, USA and Asia. We are seeking a Global Mobility (Destination Services-Relocation) Operations Specialist to work in one of our valued client offices in London, UK. Our client is a social media video content platform for creating and sharing short lip-sync, comedy, and talent videos and with offices in most EMEA and AMS countries.
Purpose of Role: Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Global Mobility Operations Specialist to join our Destination Services team, reporting to the regional destination service lead in EMEA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with multiple domestic and international stakeholders to support our continued growth and expansion. As a key team in our global mobility function, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the relocation and assignment processes for our international workforce. A strong foundation in HR practices and/or Global Mobility functions within a multinational setting is highly desirable. Destination Services is mainly based on the welfare policies provided by the company, providing relocation services for cross-border transfers, new hire employees, and international assignments. This role is to support all potential operations matters for day to day work, as well as accompanying project work for the maintenance and growth of the function.
Responsibilities:
- Detailed monitoring of the Destination Services Tracker to ensure that the data collection is robust, spotting of any errors, assign cases based on the allocation rules and create Lark group chat and ensure timely follow up of all services once authorized, escalate issues to Destination Services Lead (DSL) in a timely manner.
- Ensure timely service delivery from vendors is of high quality (meeting the standards made clear via internal SLA/SOP documentation), as well as ensuring that communication on Lark is clear, concise, and meeting documentation standards for proper audit trails and record keeping.
- Be the first point of contact for employees reaching out for clarification internally, as well as to bring escalations and deeper questions to DSL for further investigation.
- Responsible for editing and translation of new Destination Service Guides for all EMEA locations, and support quarterly review cycle as needed.
- Push vendor to provide content for the Destination Service Guides, and review content for the new and updated versions.
- Review various systems of record for accuracy, and communicate with suppliers/HROP/and other stakeholders as needed.
- Handle base level queries from vendors/employees and assist with complex issue resolution.
- Collaborate closely with HR business partners and hiring managers to facilitate seamless transitions for employees moving across borders.
- Collaborate as needed with internal stakeholder groups, including: Mobility Operations, Payroll, HR etc.
- Support as 2nd pair of eyes for DSL, for daily casework.
- Assist with ad hoc projects, and other duties as assigned by DSL.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 1-3 years of HR coordination/specialist experience in a high-volume, high-intensity tech environment.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin - Working language proficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good experience in reconciliation and data analysis, with good communication skills and proactive service awareness.
- Strong sense of responsibility and execution, timely response to daily affairs, able to quickly adapt to work rhythm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data validation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred skills/qualifications: Familiarity with global mobility practices and policies is a plus, but not required.
