Conveyancing Legal Assistant Newport | Full-time | On-site I am pleased to currently be working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Newport who are looking to appoint a Conveyancing Legal Assistant to join their busy and supportive property team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to further develop their career within a stable, friendly firm that values quality work and team collaboration. The Role The successful candidate will provide hands-on support to fee earners on a varied residential conveyancing caseload. Duties will include: Assisting with sales and purchases from instruction through to completion Preparing contract packs and supporting documentation Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors Managing correspondence, telephone enquiries and emails Opening, maintaining and closing files in line with compliance procedures Supporting post-completion matters where required The Ideal Candidate Previous experience in a conveyancing legal assistant or paralegal role Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach Able to work well as part of a close-knit team Whats on Offer The chance to join a reputable local firm with a loyal client base A supportive working environment with experienced conveyancers Genuine opportunity to build long-term experience in conveyancing Competitive salary, dependent on experience This role would suit someone looking for stability, progression and the opportunity to work within a respected firm outside of high-volume conveyancing environments.
