We are currently looking for an Oracle PLSQL Expert with good accounting knowledge to act as a liaison among stakeholders, eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems. The ideal candidate should understand the accounting lifecycle of banking regulators.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations such as EBA, COREP, and FINREP reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL is essential, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing design principles.
  • Control M knowledge for troubleshooting will be beneficial.
  • Must have expertise in financial accounting, reporting, or finance processes supported by Fusion applications.
  • Experience in documenting and delivering comprehensive business requirements and functional specifications, including regulatory calculations and reporting, is required.
  • Regulatory SME support to technical teams and review/sign-off of specifications are also necessary.

Must Have:

  • Experience working on business requirements and functional specifications for EBA regulatory capital and Bank of England calculations and reporting, or equivalent EMEA regulator rules, with large data volumes.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL.
  • Understanding of project lifecycle.
  • Previous experience in regulatory reporting or project functions is desirable.
  • Ability to articulate risks versus rewards, analyze problems logically, and maintain high standards of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, client-facing, and organizational skills to operate effectively within global, distributed teams.

Education Qualification:

  • Chartered Accountant, MBA Finance, CIMA, or Bachelor/Master’s in business economics.
  • Knowledge of GAAP (including IFRS or other GAAP) is an advantage.
