A leading digital consultancy is seeking a dynamic Business Development Director to spearhead growth across its Microsoft Business Applications practice. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record in consultative selling, pre-sales leadership, and solution innovation within the Microsoft ecosystem.
The Opportunity: As a senior figure within the UK&I business, the Business Development Director will shape and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborating closely with internal teams, Microsoft partners, and enterprise clients. This role is central to driving new business, influencing solution development, and elevating the firm's presence in the Microsoft Business Applications space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead the go-to-market (GTM) and pre-sales strategy in line with the wider Microsoft Business Applications and consultancy growth objectives.
- Engage collaboratively across internal business units to identify market trends, strategic gaps, and key client win themes.
- Lead early-stage prospect engagements, from qualification through to discovery sessions, ensuring tailored, compelling proposals aligned with Microsoft best practices and industry benchmarks.
- Leverage an established professional network to generate leads and new opportunities.
- Manage and contribute to responses for formal procurement processes (RFIs, RFPs, etc.).

What We're Looking For:
