Purpose of the Role: This role involves taking ownership of strategic procurement for Enterprise Technology spend globally, focusing on value for money, robust agreements, and supplier relationship management, aligned with dentsu's strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage strategic procurement of Enterprise Technology spend (e.g., End User Computing, Tech Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, Cyber Security).
  • Collaborate with global, regional, and local executives to deliver procurement solutions.
  • Negotiate agreements globally, balancing various regional and brand needs.
  • Manage global contract renewals.
  • Support strategic suppliers with contract and performance management, implementing SRM techniques.
  • Work with the Sustainable Procurement manager on sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead business-as-usual activities like supplier selection, contract implementation, negotiations, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with technology vendors such as Microsoft, Google, Cisco, AWS, Atlassian.
  • Identify risks, budget implications, and mitigation strategies, presenting to executive levels.
  • Line management responsibilities.

Qualifications + Skills:

  • End-to-end knowledge of vendor engagement and strategic sourcing.
  • Experience with technology/SaaS procurement, negotiations.
  • Understanding of license models, cloud architecture, and cost models.
  • Experience working with leading global technology vendors.
  • Procurement experience across multiple countries.
  • Knowledge of contractual law, financial reporting, and modeling.
  • People management experience.
  • Working towards or CIPS / MCIPS qualification preferred.
