Purpose of the Role: This role involves taking ownership of strategic procurement for Enterprise Technology spend globally, focusing on value for money, robust agreements, and supplier relationship management, aligned with dentsu's strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strategic procurement of Enterprise Technology spend (e.g., End User Computing, Tech Ops, Cloud Infrastructure, Cyber Security).
- Collaborate with global, regional, and local executives to deliver procurement solutions.
- Negotiate agreements globally, balancing various regional and brand needs.
- Manage global contract renewals.
- Support strategic suppliers with contract and performance management, implementing SRM techniques.
- Work with the Sustainable Procurement manager on sustainability initiatives.
- Lead business-as-usual activities like supplier selection, contract implementation, negotiations, and continuous improvement.
- Engage with technology vendors such as Microsoft, Google, Cisco, AWS, Atlassian.
- Identify risks, budget implications, and mitigation strategies, presenting to executive levels.
- Line management responsibilities.
Qualifications + Skills:
- End-to-end knowledge of vendor engagement and strategic sourcing.
- Experience with technology/SaaS procurement, negotiations.
- Understanding of license models, cloud architecture, and cost models.
- Experience working with leading global technology vendors.
- Procurement experience across multiple countries.
- Knowledge of contractual law, financial reporting, and modeling.
- People management experience.
- Working towards or CIPS / MCIPS qualification preferred.
