Esland’s Little Owls Home, rated Good by Ofsted, is looking for a Children’s Residential Care Worker to join our passionate, dedicated team. Every day here is full of purpose, growth, and the chance to make a lasting impact.

Nestled in a peaceful, quiet residential area, Little Owls is a place where children thrive. Our young people enjoy a wide range of activities and hobbies, including:

• Outdoors & Experiences: Horse riding, museum visits, trips to parks, shopping, and meals out
• Indoors: Baking, gaming, movies, Minecraft, and drama

We provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child is supported to reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality care and emotional support to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
• Inspire brighter futures with consistency, compassion, and resilience.
• Be part of a dedicated team in a 365-day service, with structured rotas and long shifts (7.30am–11pm), including sleep-in nights.

What You’ll Earn

• Annual salary: £34,402 – £35,025 (based on £13.45–£13.75 + 8 sleep-ins/month; dependent on qualifications) (Pay rate effective from 1st April 2026)
• Opportunity for additional earnings through enhanced overtime and extra shifts

What You’ll Need

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Must be 21+ and have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in childcare or the wider care sector is required
