DIVISION: REFINERY

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of this role is to contribute to ElectroGold plant’s optimal productivity at all times in terms of production rate, metal accounting, quality, delivery to customer, and safety specifications.

Summary of Key Responsibilities (Included But Not Limited To):

1. Precipitation of Gold and Platinum Group Metals;
2. Operate equipment according to procedures and conduct necessary checks to ensure quality specifications are met, including maximum gold recovery from electrolyte and ensuring effluent is free of precious metals;
3. Conduct safety checks to minimize the release of harmful gases;
4. Account for all inputs and outputs of the process;
5. Provide timely and accurate reports through production logs and performance feedback on a shift basis;
6. Achieve daily production targets and communicate progress to the supervisor;
7. Maintain good housekeeping practices;
8. Report all malfunctioning equipment to team members and supervisor.
