We are looking for 2 highly skilled Administrators to work as a Customer Engagement Advisor within our Customer Engagement department.

Fundamentally, you are the voice of the Customer Engagement Team and central to all that we do, you therefore need to be a glass half-full type of person and create a positive vibe in the office and with our customers!

Job description

The role is an office-based role that involves dealing with our customers by phone and email.

To ensure the highest retention levels of repeat business, it is vital to consistently take and enter customer service orders with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. By providing exceptional support to the Sales and Marketing teams, we can offer services that always reflect SG World\’s best interests. Advising customers on optimal ordering patterns and continuously developing the products they use by upgrading and informing them of other available options will significantly enhance their satisfaction and loyalty.

Essential skills:

  • Confident in speaking (and advising) on the phone.
  • Ability to influence by establishing credibility, building relationships, being an observer and communicating effectively through both verbal and written medium.
  • Can multi-task, prioritise and working on own initiative.
  • Ability to effectively multitask to simultaneously execute multiple projects
  • Can maintain professionalism, focus and result-orientation under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good with MS Office Suite

Desirable skills:

  • Has ideally previously worked in a similar role.
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills
  • Attention to Detail

Key Accountabilities:

  • Take customers\’ orders by telephone or email, obtaining appropriate purchase order data and cross- or up-selling when appropriate
  • Prepare and provide quotes. Chase for orders after quoting.
  • Negotiate sales quantities and prices
  • Enter sales orders onto the Order Processing system
  • Liaise with our salespeople, passing on leads for new customers or new business to Internal Outbound
  • Liaise with your internal sales team for working procedures and creation of extra business.
  • Advise customers of new and other product details
  • Liaise with credit control department
  • File sales and purchase order documentation following correct procedures identifying sensitive information
  • Update customer records
  • Comply with company security policy and procedures
  • Any other duties as deemed appropriate

The Package:

  • 5-day week Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) 8am to 4pm
