Description

We are seeking experienced Digger Operators to join our clients\’ teams for civil construction and earthmoving projects around the Ashburton area. Each assignment varies, starting throughout June. The workweek typically involves 40-50 hours, Monday to Friday. The duration ranges from 2 to 8 months, with potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.

The roles involve operating a range of diggers from 1.5t to 20t. There may also be some labouring and truck driving, depending on your licences.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Proven ability to operate various sizes of diggers in different environments.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake a variety of tasks, including labouring and machinery operation.
• Current WTR licence; additional HT classes are advantageous.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand, pass a pre-employment drug test, undergo a Ministry of Justice check, and provide two relevant references.
