Technical Paraplanner: Flexible hybrid role

We are a fully independent firm of financial advisers (not part of a consolidator). We’re looking for a proactive Paraplanner whose ambition is to become an adviser. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction and is looking to progress their career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with advisers to deliver high-quality financial planning support
• Construct suitability reports and annual review documents
• Conduct investment and pension analysis using industry tools
• Engage with clients to gather information and support the advice process
• Maintain and update client records using back office and provider systems

What We’re Looking For

• Strong report writing and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A genuine interest in progressing to an adviser role
• Experience with back office systems and provider platforms
• Familiarity with risk profiling and investment analysis tools

Desirable Experience

• Proficiency in systems such as Intelligent Office (IO), Voyant, FE Analytics, and O&M Pension Profiler
• Working towards or already obtained Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
