Our favourite client, a renowned studio at the forefront of global hospitality design, is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join their team. Known for designing some of the world’s most inspiring hotels and resorts, they are looking for a versatile designer who combines creative flair with strong technical skills and commercial awareness.
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to craft innovative, functional, and visually compelling spaces that respond to both client ambitions and project constraints. Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Interior Designer will take the lead across all project phases from concept design and space planning to schematic development, technical documentation, and construction administration.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing holistic interior experiences that incorporate FF&E, finishes, lighting, and artwork.
- Producing drawings, specifications, and presentation visuals.
- Coordinating with consultants and suppliers.
- Supporting site activity.
- Maintaining clear, proactive client communication throughout.
Success in this role demands excellent design and technical abilities, a strong understanding of materials and construction methodologies, and up-to-date knowledge of global hospitality trends, code compliance, and sustainable practices. The ability to sketch ideas by hand, develop 3D visuals, and produce detailed technical drawings is essential.
You’ll be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, mentor junior team members, and help uphold the studio’s high design standards.
