Head of Investments (GI) (London)

Orange Malone is working with a large GI reinsurer in London that is looking for a Head of Investments. This is a brand new position as part of a large transformation program, which includes bringing their investment capability in-house.

Role Responsibilities:

• Setting investment strategy
• Understanding industry best practices
• Managing liquidity issues
• Building and leading a team (approximately 5 people)
• Identifying new asset classes
• Developing positive relationships with providers

Candidate Profile:

Ideally, you will have a GI investment background, be an actuary or CFA, have Lloyd\’s experience, and possess excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. The key qualities are being open-minded and flexible, as the role involves many moving parts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of significant change!
