You will join a dynamic team responsible for maintaining high standards of our fleet\’s interiors. Our team collaborates with departments such as hotel operations, marine and technical operations, and environmental compliance to ensure seamless project execution. We are committed to safety, quality, and innovation, continuously seeking new ideas to enhance our operations. As a key team member, you will work with industry professionals and contribute to the success of our dry dock projects. This role is based in Disney Cruise Line\’s London Hammersmith office and requires approximately 3 months of global travel per year, including full presence during dry dock periods. What You Will Do Develop, plan, and execute interiors maintenance projects during dry-docking Write detailed scopes of work and technical specifications for interiors maintenance projects Provide documentation, including technical specifications for scope delivery Produce technical product specifications, consult with external bodies for compliance and industry standards Evaluate vendor proposals and provide recommendations to senior leadership Research new ideas, products, and regulatory changes for compliance Update and manage documentation within the project management system (AMOS) Coordinate with operational partners for dry dock work planning Partner with shipyards, Walt Disney Imagineering, vendors, and regulatory bodies for project delivery Manage consulting team members on specific project areas Act as the primary contact for shipboard leadership regarding maintenance work Coordinate feedback and support with ship\’s leadership and senior management Required Qualifications & Skills Higher education in Maritime Engineering, Design, Project or Facilities Management or equivalent experience Experience in the maritime industry, especially with passenger vessels Project management experience, preferably with formal qualifications Experience managing budgets Dry dock experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects Proficiency with project management tools Knowledge of regulatory standards for cruise ship interiors Willingness to travel and work on-site during dry-docking The Perks 25 days annual leave Private medical and dental insurance Free park entry for family and friends Discounts on Disney products, resorts, and tickets Parental and guardian leave benefits Employee resource groups promoting diversity and wellbeing Disney is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
