My client is looking for an assistant editor to join the team that produces its suite of RadCom publications and manages its news desk. The successful candidate will be involved in magazine production, sub-editing, writing articles, and planning content. You will be a core part of the editorial team, working closely with (and being managed by) the RadCom Managing Editor.

What will you be doing in the role?

  • Commission articles and liaise with authors
  • Sub-edit contributed copy and regular columns
  • Assist in guiding the content of RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus supplements
  • Participate in creating a weekly news script
  • Address queries on technical and amateur radio licensing
  • Develop the RadCom portfolio, including exploring new media opportunities
