Our market leading client is seeking an IT Technician to join their growing team based in Newcastle. This 2nd line role is an excellent opportunity for someone with IT support experience in a similar role, including user support, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the business at different levels.

Core Responsibilities:
- User Support (Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS, Android):
- Creating/removing user accounts and managing access permissions via Active Directory, Exchange, and Microsoft 365
- Troubleshooting issues for Head Office & remote colleagues, including printers, software, hardware, and network connectivity
- Supporting meeting room A/V equipment and users
- Rebuilding and procuring laptops
- Installing job-specific programs (e.g., Sage, MS Visio)
- Coordinating with third-party providers
- Managing remote VPN access and 2FA
- Supporting BYOD applications
- Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy
- Managing Windows Virtual Servers (VMware)
- Sophos Enterprise Console, PowerShell
- User account management, hunt/call groups, IVR, call greetings, team availability, Verba Call Recording system
- Remote support and site visits
- Office moves assistance
- Documentation and process creation/update
- Training delivery and skill development support
