A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for a SAP Technical Analyst within the SAP Logistics Execution areas with exposure to Plant Maintenance and/or Production Planning and Sales and Distribution (SD) areas. This is a 3-month contract initially to start ASAP, Hybrid role based in Hatfield 1 day per week. Inside IR35.
Experience Required
- Strong technical experience of E2E Materials Management, Sales and Logistics Execution processes in SAP Warehouse Management.
- Understanding of service and maintenance contract management ideally in the Information Technology business.
- Integration experience/experience in cross-platform development projects.
- Experience of implementing solutions in the areas of Logistics, Sales, Plant maintenance or Production.
- Exposure to Plant Maintenance and/or Production Planning and the supporting logistics processes.
- Strong experience in Warehouse Management.
- Thorough technical understanding of systems integration ideally using SAP PI and Proxy Classes.
- Solid technical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret & present data clearly.
- Ability to be hands-on, self-motivated and a can-do attitude.
- Ability to collaborate and work with other team members and cross-functional in other areas of the business.
- Strong personal ownership and highly delivery focused.
- Strong communicator verbally and in writing, with keen listening skills.
- Well-organised, self-disciplined, and motivated.
- Experience with integration testing between IT Service Management tools & SAP.
Responsibilities
- Act as a core member of an agile, dynamic focused team driven by business change and continuous improvement.
- Collaboration with internal staff, business programme managers and third-party suppliers and partners.
- Provide an interface between the technical development teams and the Lead Business Analyst.
- Peer reviewing the technical team’s development items and supporting the system integrating testing by executing required tests when required.
- Ensure that systems' development is consistent with the defined specifications and that cross-platform requirements deliverables are aligned effectively, to ensure smooth interaction between systems.
