The THRIVE framework, jointly developed by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, provides a systematic, population-focused approach to improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families.
The Manchester (M) Thrive Hub acts as a single point of entry to Manchester's Emotional Wellbeing Services. The M Thrive Hub Practitioners work within one of three localities: North, Central, and South. The M Thrive Hub Navigators will act as enablers and systems supporters, providing advice, information, and signposting to wellbeing services. Their key aim is to ensure children, young people, and carers can thrive in their communities. They will develop close working relationships with local services to enable an integrated community response to wellbeing needs, working alongside stakeholders, including children, young people, and carers.
Responsibilities include:
- Signposting and supporting individuals into community services, mainly within the VCSE sector.
- Supporting joint or individual visits to enhance wellbeing support.
- Planning and delivering youth support services to children and young people.
The role is non-clinical, emphasizing a strength-based, person-centered approach to developing support plans, involving relevant services when appropriate.
