A Crawley based fire protection firm needs a Fire Sprinkler Estimator to join the team, covering London with no expectation to visit the office every day.

The role involves:

  • Collaborating and liaising with project managers, project engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Reviewing and understanding the technical requirements of projects.
  • Preparing cost estimates and proposals tailored to each project.
  • Measuring and quantifying sprinkler heads, pipework, etc.
  • Carrying out site surveys as required.
  • Costing and assessing values of contracts.
  • Sending enquiries to the supply chain.
  • Preparing tender documentation, presentations, and submittals.
  • Mentoring department trainees.

You should be familiar with basic LCPB regulations. You will have managerial responsibilities if desired and if you have the relevant level of experience. This can be a hybrid role but would require the successful Senior Estimator to attend the office at least 4 days a week (to discuss). The office is based in Crawley, West Sussex.
