Role and Compensation

Part Time Veterinary Receptionist — £13.20ph plus benefits

Role Responsibilities

• First point of contact: Serve as an initial point of contact for clients during emergency situations, whether through calls or in person visits, including greeting clients, answering calls, booking appointments, and handling financial transactions.
• Administration: Manage administrative duties in the clinic accurately, ensuring the smooth operation of the service, and provide updates to veterinary staff about patients enroute or clients requiring assistance.
• Client Support: Be a friendly and reassuring presence, offering support and information when clients need it most, and act as a liaison between clients and veterinary professionals.

Working pattern

Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday 19:00–23:00; Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday 19:00–23:00 and Saturday 17:00–22:00. Plus a fair share of bank holidays. Role 2 details: Friday 19:00–23:00 and Saturday 17:00–22:00; Week 2 Saturday 12:00–17:00 and Sunday 08:00–17:00; Plus bank holidays.
