We are recruiting a Care Assistant to support a busy care home with flexible hours, alternate weekends, and the opportunity to make a real difference.

Location: The service premises, but you may be required to work at other locations with appropriate notice.

Role-specific Duties

  • Ensure residents are at the heart of care, respecting their wishes and preferences to enhance wellbeing.
  • Contribute to the efficient running of the service.
  • Support residents in maintaining relationships with their community.
  • Follow care plans and document appropriately.
  • Inform Senior Care Staff of any changes in residents\’ needs.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents.

  • Develop effective relationships with colleagues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to benefit residents.
  • Maintain relationships with residents\’ loved ones.

About The Role

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications: Good written and verbal English skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in maintaining care plans and records.
  • Effective communication to build rapport and inform colleagues.
  • Problem-solving skills for quick adaptation and protection reporting.
  • Assist residents with daily tasks per care plan, including bathing, eating, dressing, grooming, and bathroom use.

Previous Experience

  • No prior experience required.
