CMA are partnering with a public sector organisation based in Chichester, West Sussex to recruit an experienced management accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced management accountant to join the team and help shape the future of the organisation and provide an invaluable service to the local community. What will the Management Accountant role involve? Lead of preparation of management accounts including producing commentary for the senior leadership team. Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for individual departments including monthly rebudgeting and forecasting. Work closely with the non-finance professionals within the business including advising on areas for improvement. Other ad hoc duties within the team. Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant vacancy: Ideally qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) but open to candidates qualified by experience. Previous experience within a public sector or charity would be preferable. Previous experience with producing management accounts including commentary. Strong IT experience including excel.
