The Cook role is responsible for the preparation of foods for patients, guests, residents, and employees. Ensures the facility's cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- License/Certifications: Food safety certification required (e.g., ServSafe) and must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Experience: One year of relevant food production experience required. One year of specialized culinary training or institutional/retail cooking experience preferred.
