Job Description:
My client is looking to recruit an experienced M&E Manager for a residential project comprising 5 high-rise blocks in West London. The project includes a Central Plant Room, Cinema, Gym, and Wi-Fi Lounge.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Oversee MEP construction works to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution.
- Be familiar with subcontractor scope, agreements, and design drawings related to MEP trades.
- Lead 3-D coordination with the consultant, design team, and subcontractors to resolve conflicts before installation.
- Manage MEP subcontractors from tender to handover.
- Develop detailed schedules for MEP installation activities.
- Review and coordinate technical submittals and drawings before installation.
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with quality systems.
- Manage scope changes and communicate effectively.
- Coordinate procurement and project activities with the team.
- Plan and witness commissioning activities, ensuring documentation is complete.
- Coordinate submittals and RFIs with the design team.
- Report on progress and prepare project reports.
- Represent the company in MEP meetings.
- Assist in project closeout documentation and logistics.
- Uphold safety policies and procedures.
- Assist in reviewing subcontractor pay applications.
- Ensure timely completion of as-built drawings and manuals.
Qualifications:
- SMSTS and CSCS qualified.
- Over 5 years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low-voltage systems.
- Knowledge of Building Regulations and BS1 Wiring Regulations.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
- Experience managing MEP subcontracts and teams.
- Proven track record on high-quality residential projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Visio.
