We are supporting a high-quality provider of children's residential care in their search for an Operations Manager to play a pivotal role alongside the Registered Manager (RM) and Responsible Individual (RI). This is an ideal opportunity for someone ready to lead at a strategic level while maintaining a strong presence on the ground.
As an integral part of the leadership team, you'll oversee multiple homes, ensuring standards of care are consistently high, and that each setting remains compliant, therapeutic, and child-focused.
Key Responsibilities:- Work alongside the RM and RI to oversee operational excellence across services
- Coach, support, and develop Registered Managers to drive outcomes for children
- Ensure regulatory compliance (Children’s Homes Regulations, Ofsted, etc.)
- Lead on audits, performance reviews, and action planning
- Support with strategic planning, recruitment, and service development
- Act as a point of escalation for complex safeguarding or operational matters
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children’s Residential Care or equivalent)
- At least 3 years’ leadership experience in children’s residential settings
- Track record of successfully managing multiple homes or services
- Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory standards
- A commitment to therapeutic, trauma-informed care
