Are you an electrical test and inspect engineer who has experience in FMCG or food manufacturing settings? The company has seen significant growth and are now looking to expand the team, you will be part of an on-site maintenance team who provide an exceptional service in reliability improvements to ensure clients KPI’s are achieved. No day will be the same as you work on various forms of equipment including conveyors, centrifuges and safety systems. You will be responsible for completing electrical compliance tasks so will need to have a Level 3 Electrical Engineering Qualification and your 18th Edition. You will need to be flexible and have great communication skills to work with as little disruption as possible to production and be able to communicate with clients effectively. The role as an Electrical Test Engineer: Testing Fixed Electrical Installations Completing EIC & EICRs Carrying out electrical remedial works Document Test results using NAPIT FastTest Achieve on site Client KPIs Carrying out EICR fixed electrical testing Carrying out emergency light testing Carrying out Fire alarm testing Carrying out thermographic surveys Issuing reports to clients for the above work Qualifications and experience required for this Electrical Test Engineer role: GCSE – Maths, English Electrically qualified to NVQ 2330 level 3 or equivalent Electrical testing 2391 or 2394/5 18th Edition wiring regulations Microsoft Office Hold a valid, clean UK driving licence Experience carrying out fixed electrical testing Experience working in an FMCG environment Experience using digital testing software (Fast-Test, NICEIC etc) The benefits of this Electrical Test engineer : A basic salary of of £38,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience) Core Hours are Monday – Friday 6:45 – 3.15pm Paid overtime available at weekends (when required) Holiday Pay Workplace Pension Scheme Private Health Cover If you feel this Electrical Test Engineer role is right for you please contact Amy Perks at Maintech Recruitment on 01543 212250 or click apply.
